1: Bring one cup of non, dairy milk to boil (we like hemp milk)
2: Add ¾ teaspoon turmeric or grate 1 inch piece of fresh turmeric
3: Add ¼ teaspoon ginger
4: Add pinch nutmeg (optional)
5: Whisk it together and bring to boil
*Alternatively you can use the fresh root by grating a 1 inch piece into the pan
