Green Tomato Chutney

Description
This is a delicious way to use up all your unripened tomatoes.
Ingredients

grammes green tomatoes
500
millilitres
organic cider vinegar

onions
250
grammes
sultanas

small
red chilli pepper
200
grammes
soft brown sugar

teaspoon
cayenne pepper
1
tablespoon
yellow mustard seeds

teaspoon
nutmeg</li></ul>
Instructions

Chop the tomatoes into cubes and place in a large heavy based pan.

Chop the onions finely and add to the tomatoes.

Chop the chilli pepper finely and add to the mix.

Add the rest of the ingredients.

Bring the mix to the boil and turn down the heat to a simmer.

Cook for one hour or until the chutney has reduced into a thick pulp.

Leave to cool for ten minutes.

Pour into warm sterilised jars.

Leave for one month to mature before eating..
