From a young age, influenced by my Punjabi mother’s knowledge of Ayurveda, I’ve been interested in the healing properties of food. While raising my children, I discovered my passion for sharing food and nutrition knowledge, realising the importance of health and wellbeing for all families. This led me to study nutritional therapy and set up Biba Kitchen, named after the Punjabi word for decent and honest. As a qualified Nutritional Therapist, I’ve worked as a chef for supper clubs, events, and cafes, and delivered healthy eating classes to diverse groups. Working with Made in Hackney feels like cooking with my extended family!
