Nav was Introduced to Made in Hackney in 2020 by trustee Melissa Saint Hill. Nav began as a volunteer, keen to explore her passionate interest in cooking and eating healthy vegan food. She appreciates Made in Hackney’s community-focused approach, bringing people together with food from different cultures. She initially volunteered as a Programmes Assistant, helping organise cooking classes. She has now developed her role as a Social Media Assistant, Nav demonstrates cooking techniques and loves showing how she creates recipes through engaging Instagram reels raising the profile of Made in Hackney.
