Roshni Shah

Roshni began her career in fashion but always loved cooking and hosting, inspired by her talented mum. After volunteering at Foodcycle and starting a plant-based supper club, she noticed a disconnect between her work and personal values. To address this, she joined the On Purpose Programme and transitioned to the third sector, working in tech for good and various community organisations. Roshni loves cooking for friends, is a second-hand fashion advocate, and a keen boxer. At Made In Hackney, she combines her passion for plant-based food and community building, enjoying being part of a supportive and talented team. Roshni’s recipes are inspired by her Indian and East African roots combined with her love for Middle Eastern flavours. This results in vibrant, seasonal, spice infused plates that are just bursting with flavour.
