Cardamom & Cinnamon Biscuits
Lovely scented biscuits, wonderful with tea.

Preheat the oven to gas mark 4.

Cream the butter and sugar until soft and fluffy.

Crush the cardamom seeds into a coarse powder and add to the flour with the cinnamon.

Combine the butter mixture with the flour and knead into a dough.

Take a piece of the dough, shape it into a ball and flatten it slightly.Â

Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Leave 1/2 inch between each biscuit.

Bake for 25 - 40 minutes, until golden brown.

Remove and leave to cool; they will harden as they cool down.
