Immunitea

This tea was included by Chef Steve Wilson';s January Health Kick class. It';s a warming tea packed with vitamin C and is perfect as a pick me up when you';re feeling a bit under the weather or have a cold or sore throat coming on.

Instructions

  1. 1: Chop the ginger and turmeric, place in a pot with 1 litre of water. Bring to the boil.

    2: Add the cinnamon, white pepper and cayenne. Boil for 10 minutes.

    3: Remove from the heat and add the juice of the lemon.

    4: Strain and drink. Sweeten if desired with a natural sweetner such as maple syrup.
