Muhammara (Red Pepper and Walnut Dip)

This delicious spicy Lebanese dip is really healthy too, try dipping it in raw veg, spreading it on wraps or even using it as a base for pasta sauce or pizza!

Instructions

  1. 1: Preheat oven to 190 degrees celsius.

    2: Roast the bell peppers (capsicum) until the skins are chard, this will vary greatly depending on your oven, on average 30 minutes.

    3: Once the peppers are slightly cooled, peel off and discard charred skins.

    4: Place the walnuts in a food processor until finely chopped.

    5. Add all the ingredients to the food processor, drizzling in the oil as you go until the mixture is smooth.

    This dip is best served cool or at room temperature.
