Masala chai

Why not make yourself a lovely mug of comforting chai, it';s packed full of flavours and gives your kithcen a lovely aroma. Recipe by our social media assistant Nav.

Instructions

    1. Boil some water in a saucepan.
  1. Add in a little bit of ginger (frozen, powder or fresh).
  2. Put in the cardamom pod (make sure it';s open).
  3. Add fennel seeds and ground chai masala.
  4. Add a spoonful loose leaf tea (or a tea bag).
  5. Add plant based milk to reach your preferred strength of tea.
  6. Turn the heat down when the tea reaches boiling point.
  7. Leave it on the lowest heat for a couple of minutes.
  8. Pour through a strainer.
  9. Sit down and relax with your cup of chai :)
