Fab flapjack

This recipe is naturally sweetened by dates which also sticks the mixture together, magic! They also provide a great source of energy, making them a perfect snack. Recipe by our social media assistant Nav.

Instructions

    • Place the dates in a pan and cover with boiling water on a low heat.
  1. Once the dates are soft, mash them with the back of a fork (drain any excess liquid).
  2. In a bowl place all the dry ingredients.
  3. Pour the contents of the bowl into the saucepan with the dates.
  4. Turn off the heat and stir the mixture.
  5. Pour into a baking dish and bake for about 20, 25 minutes at 170C.
  6. Allow to cool before serving.
