Matt is very on brand being both born and raised in Hackney! He has a decade of experience in the food industry, working mainly in the hospitality sector around Central and East London. During lockdown Matt put his skills to use by joining as a volunteer for Made In Hackney’s emergency Meal Service. After the lock down ended, he became a part of our team as a lead chef on the same project. Matt is now working on logistics for our Community Made programme to feed the local community. Helping to lead a team of volunteers to produce free, plant based and nutritious meals to the people of Hackney. Finally helping the Community he grew up in.
