Camilla Rossi – Development Manager

Camilla’s background is in Social and Medical Anthropology, with an MSc in Urban Health. She has experience designing and leading participatory research projects on health and wellbeing, focusing on the experiences and needs of underserved communities.

Alongside this, her long-standing interest in community health, sustainability, and nutrition led her to join a local zero waste store, where she grew into a managerial role, overseeing operations, outreach, and education around low-impact living. This hands-on work deepened her understanding of environmental responsibility, local food systems, and community-led approaches to health and sustainability.

In her role as Development Manager at Made In Hackney, she brings together her experience across research and practice, working closely with community while focusing on growing funding, partnerships, and the organisation’s reach.
