Made In Hackney, Liberty Hall (black & white building by the common), 128 Clapton Common, Spring Hill, Clapton, London, E5 9AA, UK
Join Chef Flo to explore and share delicious recipes that use the season’s finest produce. We will work with the freshest and tastiest ingredients that the land has to offer us. As well as classic staples like potatoes and carrots we’ll learn together how to reach delicious peaks of flavour with ingredients like celeriac, Jerusalem artichokes and kale.
For this class,
Made in Hackney is working with OrganicLea, a community farm on the edge of London, in Chingford. We’ll be cooking with winter vegetables from OrganicLea and other farms surrounding London. A member of the OrganicLea Co-operative will share facts from the field with us, connecting what we cook with where our ingredients come from - and why eating seasonal and organic is best for us and the wider natural world.
The exact ingredients we work with will be determined by what’s coming out of the soil on the farms each week!
To book on: please select "BOOK NOW". If you don't have access to internet, call 020 8442 4266 and we can fill the form over the phone with you (this class is for people diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes or been told they are at risk).
To ensure a smooth experience for everyone, please only attend the class if you've received a booking confirmation from us and have confirmed your spot. As space is limited, we want to avoid turning anyone away. Keep in mind that our classes often have waiting lists, but spots do sometimes open up. If you're on a waiting list, we’ll prioritize you for future classes and courses. Thanks for your understanding!
