The Event

"60% of what our bodies absorb is through our skin. We spend huge amounts on beauty products that put toxins into our bodies. If we wouldn't eat it, why are we OK with putting it on our skin?" Join home alchemist Julie Riehl learning to make non-toxic, homemade cosmetics so pure you can eat them! Perfect for gifts ideas or simply to indulge yourself!

The class will include:

  • Learn what commercial cosmetics are made off and why avoiding them
  • Learn about natural ingredients, oil, wax and herbs
  • Discover what works for you type of skin
  • Make your own natural cosmetics including:
    - a bath bomb
    - a soothing jelly face mask (vegan)
    - a face cream
    - a lip balm
  • Get lots of tips and extra recipes to start making your own at home
