The Event

This Masterclass is part of our new 'VIP Series', led by experts who are renowned in their field.

"Got a bamboo sushi mat but don’t know how to use it? This class is for you! I will share my years of experience to give you the skills to make restaurant standard sushi at home. From cooking the perfect rice to making a variety of roll styles, vinegars and seasonings." Ronaldo De Morais, Former Chef at Ukai Sushi - Notting Hill. 

The class will include: 

• An introduction to sushi history and the fundamental ingredients 
• How to cook the perfect sushi rice
• How to make sushi vinegar seasoning and other classic sauces
• How to make hoso maki, futomaki, uramaki, and temaki
• How to combine flavours, textures and present sushi to restaurant standard
• A delicious organic plant based lunch and recipes to take home

Ronaldo hails from Brazil and has developed a successful career in the Pan Asian restaurant industry,  specialising in sushi. He was formerly Executive Sushi Chef at Ukai Sushi, Notting Hill and has worked at a number of other award-winning restaurants. Ronaldo teaches sushi courses and private lessons, as well as catering private dinners for VIP clients, including Sir Elton John.  

Fee: £75 (£55 Concession) includes a delicious organic lunch

Refunds: we require a minimum of 7 days' notice for any cancellations or transfers once you have booked onto a class.
