All Ages, All Tastes: Beans & Pulses: Dal & Roti!
Join Chef Jordan Bourzig for a vibrant and delicious plant-based cooking class focusing on beans and pulses! In this hands-on session, you'll learn to make:
Hearty Plant-Based Dal – a comforting lentil curry seasoned with aromatic spices.
Soft, Homemade Roti – traditional Indian flatbreads made from whole wheat flour.
This hands-on class is perfect for all ages and focuses on creating delicious, budget-friendly meals! Participants under 16 will need to be accompanied by an adult (please note when booking). It’s a fun, interactive way to learn how to cook wholesome meals that are easy on the wallet.
About the Chef
Jordan Bourzig is a conscious vegan natural chef and a naturopathic nutritionist student. Hailing from a traditional French cooking background, Jordan has studied the fundamentals of French cuisine and gained experience in various restaurants, from bistros to Michelin-starred establishments.
In 2019, he transitioned to a vegan lifestyle, embarking on a journey to explore plant-based alternatives and discover the richness of plant-based cuisine. A transformative permaculture farming experience in Wales in 2022 deepened his awareness of the food system and its nutritional quality, leading him to dedicate his skills to sharing knowledge and offering healthy food to others. He is committed to promoting healing through food and natural elements to make a positive impact on the world.
