Quick and simple to make. They are a great accompaniment to many Mexican dishes and can also be deep fried to make tortilla chips!
300 grammes Masa Harina
Pinch of salt (optional)
300 millilitres warm water
Put the masa harina, salt (if using) and water in a bowl and knead well until you get a soft dough
Divide into 10 equal pieces and roll into balls
Place each ball in a plastic bag and place in the tortilla press or press down using a heavy pan
Carefully peel back the plastic
Cook in a non-stick dry pan over a medium heat for 1 minute or so, flipping over during cooking time until cooked
