Crispy Baked Potato Fries

This twist on the classic french fries add some flavour and a health kick to your bite!

Ingredients

Serves 4

3 large potatoes or sweet potatoes

2 tablespoons fine cornmeal or polenta

A good pinch of Sea salt

A good pinch of smoked paprika

1-2 tablespoons olive oil or rapeseed oil to coat

Method

1.       Preheat the oven to 220c/gas 7 and line a couple of baking trays with baking parchment.

2.       Scrub and cut the potatoes into chips about 1cm thick, then run under cold water and pad dry well with a tea towel.

3.       Toss the chips in a bowl with some oil the polenta, sea salt and paprika and spread out in a thin layer over a couple of baking trays.

4.       Bake for 30-40minutes until the potatoes are crisp and turning golden brown
